• Shopify shop, order, refund, payout, product, tax, fee, and related customer information supplied through Shopify.
• QuickBooks company, chart-of-accounts, item, and transaction information needed to configure and perform the sync.
• App settings, mappings, connection status, event identifiers, Shopify plan status, recent order count, error details, and audit records needed to operate safely.
• Support messages and basic technical information you choose to provide when asking for help.

We use this information to authenticate your accounts, create and reconcile accounting records, prevent duplicate writes, recover failed work, respond to support requests, secure the service, and satisfy legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use merchant or customer data for advertising.

Shopify and Intuit provide the connected commerce and accounting platforms. Fly.io provides application, database, and backup infrastructure. These providers process information under their own agreements and privacy terms. Production infrastructure is configured in Toronto, Canada, although a provider or connected platform may process information in other jurisdictions.

Connections use encrypted transport. QuickBooks credentials are encrypted before storage, and access to production systems is restricted. Operational records are kept only as long as needed to provide, secure, and document the service.

After the app is uninstalled, active Shopify sessions are removed, the QuickBooks authorization is revoked when available, and shop data is scheduled for deletion within 48 hours. Deleted records may remain in encrypted infrastructure backups for up to 10 days before those backups expire.

For a founding merchant promised lifetime access, we may retain a one-way keyed entitlement fingerprint after shop data is deleted. The fingerprint cannot be used to reconstruct the store domain and is used only to restore that billing exemption after reinstall.

A merchant can disconnect QuickBooks from the app at any time or uninstall the Shopify app. To request access, correction, or deletion, follow the data deletion guide or email jlgadek@gmail.com. We may need to verify the requester and the affected shop before acting.

This policy may be updated as the service changes. The effective date on this page identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the app or another reasonable channel.
